  • CLICK HERE for the Superintendent's Detailed Update on our Return to Campus Plan

Hello Parents, As promised in our last communication, we wanted to update you on our plan to fully return to in-person learning beginning this Monday, September 21st. Based on the most recent health information released for Graham County, we have met or are very close to meeting all three health benchmarks established for schools to reopen to in-person learning. Therefore, we are confirming full, in-person learning will begin THIS Monday, September 21st! To prepare for Monday, we ask that everyone reviews Phase 3 of our reopening protocols which can also be found on our district website. This will list the procedures that will be followed starting Monday. Masks are still mandated on school campuses by Executive Order 51. There will be less social distancing when we have all students and staff on campuses and on busses, so it will be even more important to follow the mask and sanitation protocols. Also, please remember to screen your students for symptoms each morning and keep them home if they are showing any symptoms. We are VERY excited about fully reopening our schools as we believe in-person learning is the most effective way to instruct students and build social skills. We want to thank you and the rest of our community for doing what needed to be done to control the spread of the virus, for supporting us through different learning models, and for following our reopening protocols.
