Meet Mrs. Crisler

My name is Mrs.Deanna Crisler. Let me take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. I have been married for forty-two years to my wonderful husband, Bob. We have two adult children and three grandchildren. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and educator. I've always known I wanted to be a teacher. As I begin year 39 in the teaching profession, I can still say I love my job! I am both a student and a teacher, as I realize life is a learning adventure.

I am a native of Safford and attended grades K-12 in the Safford School District. I received my Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University and my Master's degree from Northern Arizona University. In addition, I hold endorsements in Reading K-12, Early Childhood Education, and Full Structured English Immersion. As a classroom teacher, I have taught first, second, third, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. After twenty-three years as a classroom teacher, I became the media specialist at Lafe Nelson School. This allowed me an opportunity to work with students in grades K-6 for a five-year period. I was then blessed with the opportunity to return to the classroom in 2010. I know 2022-2023 is going to be a great year!
