Governing Board Meetings
Welcome to a Governing Board Meeting
Members of the Safford Unified School District No. 1 Governing Board appreciate your attendance at this meeting.
The decisions made by the Governing Board affect our children’s education and future. The quality of public education depends on citizens and school staff pulling together to design programs to meet the needs of our students. Safford Unified School District No. 1 Board meetings are regularly scheduled for the second Thursday of each month, unless otherwise noted, in the Gail Curtis Boardroom at 7:00 p.m. Executive sessions and special meetings are scheduled as needed.
Board members may also hold monthly work sessions. These meetings are organized to keep residents informed about issues and to give citizens the opportunity to comment on Board agenda items.
All meetings are open to the public except the executive sessions, which are conducted to discuss only those matters as prescribed by Arizona law.
