How far away from the school do I have to live in order to qualify to ride the bus?
Posted by:1 mile for Elementary/Middle School Students and 1.5 miles for High School Students.

Does my student have to have a bus pass to ride?
Posted by:Yes. These can be obtained at the Transportation office M-F 8:30 to 11am and M-Th 4-4:30pm or by appointment 928-348-7080

How many bus passes can my student have?
Posted by:Each student is allowed 2 stops. These can be on the same bus color or different but only 2 stops are allowed.

Will I be notified if my student gets into trouble on the bus?
Posted by:Yes. It may not be the same day as investigations take time. Please keep a current phone number on file with the school and transportation.

If my student misses the bus can I pull up behind the bus and let my students run up at another stop
Posted by:NO, This is incredibly dangerous. If you need to take your students to another stop please arrive at that stop well before the bus so that your student has time to get out and get in line before the bus arrives.

My student lost or had his bus pass stolen. Can I get a replacement?
Posted by:Yes. The fee for lost or stolen bus passes is $1. You will need to come in and purchase one.

Is there a lost and found for items left on the bus?
Posted by:YES. It is located at the bus barn at 1185 S 14th Ave in Safford.

What is the process for rainy days?
Posted by:This only applies to SHS/SMS Purple and Blue ELEMENTARY
When Powerline Rd, Stockton Rd and Artesia Rd are muddy and/or flooding the following are the pick up and drop off locations for students on those busses:
